What’s new in Loquelle

Press Ctrl+Shift+A, or the new “Answer what’s on my screen” button, and Loquelle reads whatever is visible and answers it: a written question, a whole set of multiple-choice questions (each gets its own answer card), code, an error dialog, a dashboard. Works mid-meeting — answers join your normal card stream — and on its own outside meetings. The answer appears only in your private overlay, invisible on screen share as always; the capture itself is processed in memory and never stored. Every answer saves to your History. Technical mode applies: code questions come back as complete, runnable solutions. Also in this release: a privacy hardening pass (one legacy dialog could appear outside the protected overlay; it no longer exists) and cleaner answers from thinking-style AI models.

Write your brief, click Prep me, and Loquelle builds your prep pack: the questions you are most likely to face with ready-to-say answers, the key points to land, smart questions to ask the other side, and traps to avoid. Saved to your history automatically. Smarter live answers: Loquelle now recognizes what kind of question you are facing mid-call and answers accordingly, objection handling and value reframes on sales calls, structured STAR answers for behavioral interview questions, and confident salary-range handling. Better meeting recaps: when you stop a meeting, your recap now ends with a ready-to-send follow-up email, subject line and all, recapping outcomes and next steps in your voice. Faster Technical mode: code and architecture answers arrive noticeably quicker during live interviews.

You can now attach a document before a call, a CV, a deck, meeting notes or any file, and Loquelle reads it so its answers use what is in it. Technical mode now covers more than code: ask for a system architecture, a database design or a diagram and Loquelle lays it out for you. Loquelle also pauses itself after a long silence so it never keeps running once a meeting has ended.

If you sign out or use up your daily Loquelle minutes mid-meeting, the app now stops and tells you plainly what happened and what to do, instead of listening on in silence. New users also get a short first-run tip showing where Loquelle lives and how to hide it.

When a call ends, Loquelle for Desktop now shows your key points, suggestions and full transcript right away. It is the same summary you get from history, so you can copy what matters before you move on.

Loquelle now stays quiet instead of restating a point it already made, shows one clean answer at a time rather than stacking them mid-call, and paces itself so it keeps up without overwhelming you. Also includes a reliability fix for the occasional “listening but not responding” pause.

Follow-up meetings now show the correct local date and your most recent meeting rises to the top, so your history is easy to scan at a glance.

Your meetings now stay in sync across the web workspace, the desktop app and the browser extension, duplicate entries are gone, and updates install themselves in a couple of clicks. The app also shows its version in the corner.

The Windows desktop app launches: it captures your call’s audio locally, stays invisible on screen share, and falls back automatically between AI providers so your live suggestions never stall in the middle of a meeting.

A new button in the side panel (and a mid-call chip) captures the visible call tab once, on your click only, and answers whatever is on it — written questions, MCQs one by one, code, errors. Technical mode applies. One run per answer, refunded if anything fails, and the capture is never stored. If Chrome withholds capture permission the panel tells you the exact fix instead of failing silently.

Same extension, same account, same history — only the name changed. No new permissions and no change to how it works. We renamed because “Cue” is a common word several unrelated products already use, which made us hard to find and easy to confuse with someone else. Loquelle (say lo-KWEL) comes from the French loquèle: ease and fluency in speech.

When transcription is rate-limited the extension now slows down and tells you, instead of discarding words with no warning. The polling cadence is capped, so a slow setting can no longer delay answers. You get a clear message when the service is unavailable, rather than a “listening” indicator that never produces anything. Limit messages now say which allowance ran out instead of always claiming it resets tomorrow.

Fixed answers being hidden during live calls. New one-tap quick asks — Say now, Answer that, What to ask — with tagged replies. Faster responses, and a clean panel on every start.

Ask Assistant gives real-time guidance during interviews, and Prep Me builds your preparation beforehand. Sessions now end with an automatic recap, and recap emails send on their own. Better question detection and steadier sessions throughout.
